Purpose

To protect the privacy of The Link supporters, the following safeguards and processes are in place.

 

Policy

The Link Counseling Center, in the course of raising funds for our services, operations, and programs, must share information with staff, volunteers, and board members from time to time. The sources of information placed in a donor record come from publicly published sources, non-confidential conversations and correspondence with donors, and annual donor surveys. 

 

• Donor personal information is gathered and kept within a secure database. 

• In cases where donors request anonymity, all efforts are made to limit the number of agency employees who are made aware of the donor's name. 

• The Link does not sell a donor's personal information to anyone else, nor do we send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
