Children & Adolescent

Grief Support Groups

 

Children and adolescents who have lost a parent, sibling, loved one, or caregiver may attend these weekly groups free of charge. Group members join with others who are grieving to share support, encouragement and to experience a decreased sense of isolation as they engage in the healing process. Groups have been meeting at The House Next Door since 1992.

 

Parents or caregivers call 404-256-9797 to schedule a grief consultation to register your child.

The consultation will provide more information about the groups.

Ages 4 - 7

When: Mondays, 4:00 pm – 5:00pm

Ages 7 – 10

When: Wednesdays, 4:00 pm – 5:00pm

Ages 10 – 13

(Middle School)

When: Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 7:00pm

Ages 14 – 19

(High School)
