Children & Adolescent

Grief Support Groups

 

Children and adolescents who have lost a parent, sibling, loved one, or caregiver may attend these

weekly groups free of charge.

Group members join with others who are grieving to share support, encouragement and to

experience a decreased sense of isolation as they engage in the healing process.

Groups have been meeting weekly at The House Next Door since 1992.

Groups are designed to meet your child's unique grieving needs with

group sizes that accommodate individual attention.

 

To register your child  call 404-256-9797 to schedule a grief consultation with Janet Mainor. 

The consultation will provide additional information about the groups based on your child's needs.

Ages 4 - 7

When: Mondays, 4:00 pm – 5:00pm

Ages 7 – 10

When: Wednesdays, 4:00 pm – 5:00pm

Ages 10 – 13

(Middle School)

When: Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 7:00pm

Ages 14 – 19

(High School)

When: Wednesdays, 5:00 pm – 6:00pm
