National Resource Center for Suicide Prevention & Aftercare

The Link's  National Resource Center for Suicide and Prevention and Aftercare (NRC) is a

leading resource in the country for suicide prevention and aftercare. It is dedicated to reaching out to those

whose lives have been impacted by suicide and connecting them to available resources.

Families who have experienced a loss through suicide receive unparalleled support while they grieve.

Grief Consultations
at no charge

The Link offers a pro bono grief consultation for any individual or family who have experienced the death of a loved one. The Link also offers grief support groups free of charge.

For those whose lives have been impacted by a loss from suicide, you are invited to attend the Suvivors of Suicide (SOS) groups that meet three times monthly.


It is recommended that you schedule a grief consultation before your first support group visit but it is not necessary.

Support Groups

The SOS support group model
was developed by Iris Bolton,

Director Emeritus, following the death of her son in the 1970s.
The model has been replicated throughout the nation providing support for thousands of individuals and families for more than five decades.


There is no charge to attend the support group meetings.

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

This day brings suicide loss survivors together for an opportunity to find connection, understanding and hope through a shared experience.
The gathering will be upstairs at
The Link's House Next Door Building.
